About NASBA
NASBA's Executive Management Team Douglas A. Daniel As NASBA's Chief Executive Officer, Doug oversees NASBA's vision, mission and strategy, and is intimately involved in the development of NASBA's Business Services. Doug previously served as the managing partner of the Atlanta office of CBIZ Daniel/Pappadakis & Co., a national business services and accounting firm. During his more than 25 years of work as a strategic business consultant and financial/accounting advisor to large and small companies, Doug has founded and served as a venture capital investor in numerous start-ups, with involvement in arranging traditional bank financing, angel money, and private equity. He has also served as a C-level officer, director, or strategic advisor to more than a hundred other companies in various stages of development—from start-up to IPO. Mr. Daniel's extensive experience includes working with both traditional and technology companies. Doug is a licensed CPA, a Certified Valuation Analyst, and a graduate of Georgia State University with a BBA in Accounting. Robert M. Danese Robert Danese serves as NASBA's Executive Director and as NASBA's public voice within the technology community. Robert is directly responsible for sponsorship and strategic alliance relations and serves as a key advisor to all of NASBA's Corporate and Executive Sponsors. Prior to joining NASBA, Robert was the President/COO and Co-Founder of The Tamco Group (TTG, LLC), a computer sales, marketing and technology exhibition group headquartered in Newport Beach, California. TTG employs sales and marketing professionals in seven states, managing over $200 million in annual sales revenue on behalf of leading manufacturers of hardware and software. Robert also has over 7 years of senior executive experience in various technology, reseller and distribution channels. He received his BSBA in Marketing from West Virginia University. James W. (Jim) Hagan As General Counsel, Jim Hagan manages all aspects of NASBA's strategic development, contract negotiations, and legal affairs. Prior to joining NASBA, Jim served as the Interim Chief Operating Office and General Counsel for OnCare Management Corp., a national owner/operator of community-based chemotherapy and radiation therapy centers, where his responsibilities included the implementation of computer-based treatment, disease management, and clinical trial programs. Prior to his work with OnCare, Jim was a Partner at Alston & Bird, a national law firm based in Atlanta, where he served both as trial counsel and outside general counsel to several companies. Jim received his J.D. degree from Yale Law School and is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame, with a B.A. degree in Government and International Relations. James P. (Jim) Niekamp Jim Niekamp serves as a Director of NASBA, and in that capacity manages NASBA's member-marketing process and all content on NASBA's website. Jim is also responsible for sales of NASBA's Business Services for the Western Region of the United States. Jim co-founded and managed the IntegratorsOnly.com web portal ("IO"), a division of Cohesion Marketing that served the needs of White Box System Integrators and high-tech vendors. IO grew to over 3,500 registered members under Mr. Niekamp's leadership prior to its acquisition by NASBA in mid-2001. Prior to co-founding IO, Jim managed AMD's Reseller Program. This highly successful program served over 20,000 Resellers. During Jim's tenure, AMD dramatically increased its market share and implemented a program focused on the largest White Box System Builders. Jim brings to NASBA more than 10 years of valuable experience in developing highly targeted, database-driven marketing programs for technology components. Jim earned his MBA degree at St. Edwards University, and a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Kentucky. Return home |
